TrafFix Devices, Inc., a company with principal offices at 160 Avenida La Pata, San Clemente, CA 92673, is the data controller for the purposes of data protection law.
All capitalized terms have their definition in TrafFix Devices Terms of Service, unless otherwise noted.
"Personally Identifiable Information" (PII) refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person. An identifiable person is someone who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, address, email address, telephone number, an identification number, location data, online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, psychological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that person.
The Short Version
We only collect information that you provide to us and only what is required to fulfill the purpose of our interaction. TrafFix Devices, Inc., and its subsidiaries, does not sell, rent, or trade collected personally identifiable information to third party organizations.
Any person interacting with TrafFix Services who provide TrafFix with names, addresses, telephone numbers, e-mail addresses, domain names or URLs, or any other PII permits TrafFix to use such information for commercial purposes of its own, including contacting individuals about products and services which may be of interest. The only Personally Identifiable Information we collect is volunteered by the user of TrafFix Services, including form submittals, site registrations, and purchases. This information is used to conduct business, improve customer satisfaction, website reliability, and is never shared with other organizations for commercial purposes.
What information does TrafFix collect?
TrafFix collects information directly from you for you registration, payment, transactions, and user profile. We also automatically collect from you your usage information, cookies, and similar technologies, and device information.
Passive Information Collection
We track visitors movements through our Services using cookies from Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager. Rest assured, we have setup these cookies to collect information in an anonymous fashion while providing us with useful information; such as number of visitors, their general location, which pages are visited, and the browser and operating system of the device used. This information is used to better understand how users interact with the Services so we can enhance customer experience in the future.
We may provide your personal information to trusted third-party companies that provide services to fulfill your order, such as fraud detection and investigation, payment processing, order shipping, and address validation. These companies are authorized to use your personal information only as necessary to provide these services to us on your behalf. These services include:

"Do Not Track" Preferences
We respect your right to online privacy. As such, our Services monitor for and behave differently if your device or browser transmits a "Do Not Track" or similar message. When our Services receives a DNT signal, we won't track your or record your visit, no tracking cookies will be created, nor will we collect any personally identifiable information about you or your device unless you volunteer such information through site registrations, purchases, or otherwise submitting information to the Services.
Children Online Privacy Protection Act
When it comes to the collection of personal information from children under the age of 13 years old, the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) puts parents in control. The United States Federal Trade Commission (FTC) enforces the COPPA Rule, which spells out what operators of websites and online services must do to protect children's privacy and safety online.
We do not specifically market to nor do we knowing collect information from children under the age of 13 years old.

Reviewing, Deleting, or Updating Your Personal Information
At any time prior to the shipment of your order, you may withdraw your consent to process your data by contacting us and we will cancel your order. Once an order has been shipped, we are unable to cancel or otherwise halt the processing of your data; however, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your data at any time. Additionally, you have the ability to opt-out from all analytics, performance, and social media cookies on our website by enabled the "Do Not Track" setting in your browser.
To review, delete, or update your personal information to ensure it is accurate or if you no longer desire to use our Services or wish to no longer receive further contacts from us, should send TrafFix Devices, Inc. a specific request (i.e. stating do not use or do not share or both) by emailing our Data Protection Officer at email@example.com with the subject "Opt Out", by telephone, or by certified or standard mail clearly marked "Privacy-Urgent" addressed as follows:
